The Work

Solace

On a sunny afternoon, relief doesn't always come easy, but when it does, it's pure solace. For Samuel, a 13-year old living in Ogun State, a single sachet of cold water is more than just a quick escape from the hot sun and it's a moment of peace and calmness.

Caught right at the intersection of a gasp and a laughter filled grimace, his face tells a universal story of human resilience: finding unfiltered, bursting joy right in the middle of life's everyday demands as a child.
